About this piece: I was commissioned by North Star Records to write this arrangement of Mendelssohn's classic carol for pianist Judith Lynn Stillman's CD "Christmas Reflections". Judith is an accomplished pianist and professor of music who collaborates with many musicians, among them Wynton Marsalis, Mark O'Connor and Richard Stoltzman. If you compare the recording to the score you'll discover places where Judith elaborated on the written part.
