Through his many recordings Bruce Abbott is known primarily as a jazz saxophonist and flutist. When he played a Native American style flute made by Miguel Medina of Singing Tree Flutes it was love at first breath. The Native American flute possesses a soulful sound that is meditative, relaxing, uplifting and inspiring. It speaks knowingly to something deep within our ancient and collective memories.
Bruce has recorded two albums of music for Native American style flute - River Waves (2013) and Light on the Leaves (2023).
