About this piece: In 2003 the North Star Jazz Ensemble was invited to perform at the Big Sisters of Rhode Island annual fundraising event and to record a souvenir CD of original music. I wrote "Our Time" for the project and bassist Marty Ballou provided some nice touches for the arrangement (interlude, modulation, etc.) Pianist Ron Fournier and I collaborated on the jazz-rock fusion original "Little Sister" which was also included on the CD.
